Chris served as Board President for 5 years on the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team through 6 federally declared disasters including 2 fires, 3 floods and a tornado. The fire in 2011 claimed 2 lives, destroyed 1,693 homes and 34,000 acres. Over that time, the organization raised approximately $6.5 million and coordinated the rebuilding of 143 homes and repaired an additional 72. She is now the Emergency Manager for Bastrop County. Chris is also an Attorney at Law.
