How do I get help from the DLT?
Our team helps in situations where we are directly requested by a community leader or community partner. We will reach out to that person directly for more information and then make contact. Once we assess the situation and have team members who can assist, we schedule an in-person visit with the community members. Who do you help?
Whenever possible, we help any community leaders who are navigating long term recovery from disaster. If you have questions, contact us at 800-DLT-4203.
Do you help financially?
It is our goal to utilize grant funding and donations that allow us to help a community. We do not provide direct funding to communities. We are a team of volunteers with the exception of our Executive Director.
What is your integrity of your team members?
All team members are unique and independent of the DLT but have all served as trusted community leaders in their own community’s recovery.
Financial Statement
The Disaster Leadership Team is committed to applying donations responsibly and as efficiently as possible. Our team of volunteers donate their time and we seek donations to get them to locations to meet discovery leaders face-to-face when possible. Your contributions mean that we can help the people who need it and we take that job very seriously.
